Hero Worship

I took my family to see the Avengers today since they’d had yet to see it. My mom loved it. She doesn’t normally care too much for scifi or action movie, but loved the Avengers and Thor.

Today’s picture is of my husband. Because if we’re gonna be honest, out of all of the Avengers, Steve Rogers is the one most made for Faith. i.e. “There’s only one God ma’am and he doesn’t dress like that” and “Figured I’d wait” “For what?” “The right partner.” and he’s all old fashioned… Do I have to go on? I think not.

Gate

After my last final I pulled up to my apartment to find the gate completely off of its hinges. I had to lift the whole gate and replace it by myself. I’m sure it would have been entertaining to watch.

Open

This is one of the plants that grows right outside my apartment. I never noticed this flower before. Obviously it must bloom in the spring, but I doubt this late. I think it’s more likely that I’m just blind. Or closed off.

Field of Daggers

This photograph was taken while Tim was tuning his guitar and getting ready for Field of Daggers. This song is my favorite by them and possibly by anyone. It’s so powerful. So beautiful. There are so many aspects. So many things going on. The drums. The strings. The harmonies. The bridge. The voices. The guitars. The bass. Granted this list describes so many songs. But the way it is composed-to me it’s just one of the best things ever written. That 5:27 song just has so much power. And the ending! The album ending is so beautiful!

Obviously this photo isn’t as active as the others I posted of this concert (1) (2) but I wanted an excuse to talk about Field of Daggers.
