Day 55 - 22nd March 2012

Midnight

As shown by my ticket, Diana, Zach, and I went to the midnight premiere of The Hunger Games. Though “technically” this was Friday, this photo remains for Thursday. We got the theatre at 9:30, and thankfully we did because there were already a lot of people. But strangely, we didn’t have to wait in a line. The let us straight in.

The movie was wonderful. It followed the book so closely! I only had a couple of small things that I would have done differently. 1. They didn’t have Katniss scream out Peeta’s name and then clap her hand over her mouth, which was one of my favorite parts. 2. I would have slowed down the cave scene. I understand that there is a time limit or whatever but if you’re already at 2hr20min what’s a couple more? Anyway, as I said this movie was amazing and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone that has read the book. And I would recommend the books to anyone and everyone.

Day 53 - 20th March 2012

Gold

Today I purchased my ticket for the midnight premiere of The Hunger Games! Whoop whoop. Stupid excited.

Other than that I spent the day studying so not much to tell.

Day 46 - 13th of March, 2012

Grimm Tales

I spent part of my time at work reading fairy tales. It’s probably because it’s totally because I have to wait to go home to watch a new episode of Once Upon A Time with my mom.

Things I’ve learned: Snow White was 7 when she was became fairer than the Queen and the huntsman was sent after her. Step mother are evil. And Kings are useless.

Bradley talking about Anthony and their relationship.

The Bible doesn’t provide a one-size-fits-all program for moving from friendship to marriage. Our lives are too different, our circumstances too unique, and our God too creative to have only one formula for romance. The various ways in which God brings men and women together, like the unique designs of snowflakes, are never quite the same. But just as a one-of-a-kind snowflake can only form at a specific temperature and precipitation, a God-honoring romance can only form when we follow godly patterns and principles.

The Dursleys taught me that a world without imagination is a dull and dreary place.

Arthur Weasley taught me that an good sense of curiosity and a bit of obsession can be healthy.

Molly Weasley taught me that a happy family is not measured in gold.

Sybill Trelawney taught me that you cannot change the past, only the future.

Lavender Brown taught me that physical relationships only last for so long.

Peter Pettigrew taught me that rats do not make good friends.

Nicholas Flamel taught me that to the well-prepared mind, death is but the next great adventure.

Minerva McGonagall taught me that a good cause is worth fighting for at any age.

Hedwig taught me that the love we have for our pets is very real.

Lord Voldemort taught me that a life without love is barely living.

J. K. Rowling taught me that the stories we love will always be with us.

Until the very end.
